Hello, my name is Olawale Olagoke, and I am a UX/UI designer who is passionate about improving people's lives through design. I make digital products that people will find useful and enjoyable.

In my first year of college, I discovered a passion for design. I self-taught graphics design and began assisting colleagues who were starting a business in developing brand identity and designing marketing materials. This interest grew as I volunteered as a designer for various organizations, including my university's Advancement Office. With over three years of experience designing experiences and developing digital campaigns for brands in financial institutions, educational firms, and non-profit organizations, I wanted to learn how to create more meaningful experiences for people. This led me to pursue a master’s degree in digital design in the Netherlands.

The program assisted me in growing as a designer, developing ethics, and expanding my skill set. As I had the opportunity to work on innovative projects with various clients, I improved my process, concept development, and understanding of UX/UI principles.

I currently work at AssistiveWare, an assistive technology software company, as a UX/UI Designer. My role involves ensuring that the website is user-friendly, accessible, and effectively communicates our products and social mission. My journey in digital design has led me to a deep commitment to accessibility, and I'm actively working towards becoming a certified web accessibility specialist. I am also member of International Association of Accessibility Professionals.

I am at ease working on all stages of the product lifecycle, from ideation workshops and research to prototyping journeys, designing beautiful user interfaces, and delivering production-ready assets.

Throughout my master's program in digital design, I worked on UX, UI, and digital design problems for a variety of clients. This included work on projects such as improving PLUS supermarket digital infrastructure, creating a 3D visualization platform to help architects present their adaptive architecture designs, and creating a digital platform that allows medical professionals to easily create and monitor care plans for patients with neuromuscular disease (FSHD & SMA).

I created web, mobile, and presentation-based campaigns and analytics for United Capital in order to establish and maintain a strong digital presence. I was responsible for developing brand communications and creative designs, as well as creating marketing collateral and promotional materials to support business development, solution, and fulfilment efforts. The onboarding form was redesigned to reduce abandonment by 60%.
